Fees and charges for High Street Health Hub
Consultation fees are the same regardless of the method used (in person, phone, or video. Fees are also displayed in our reception area.
Consultations
Standard GP/ ACC consultation is 15-minute appointment with the GP. If you are more than 7 minutes late to this appointment, it is unlikely to proceed and you will need to rebook.
Charges are based on a standard appointment. To be able to address complex or multiple issues thoroughly and safely we ask that you book a 30-minute appointment. Extended consultations will incur an additional charge.
All of our fees are for each GP consultation, regardless if it is a follow-up appointment for a recurring issue, or to discuss test results.
Payments
Payment is expected on the day of your appointments and at the time of script collection.
EFTPOS, internet banking facilities, credit card and cash are available. Patients using internet banking are asked to please include their surname and chart number in payment details.
Please note that all costs incurred in the recovery of overdue fees, including but not limited to debt recovery charges and legal fees, may be added to the balance of your account.
We understand that sometimes you may have difficulty with payment. Please discuss this when booking or at the time consultation
Cancellations
If you can’t make or need to change an appointment, you need to let us know as soon as possible. You can cancel your appointment in person or by phone on 04 555 4450.
Please cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 2 hours beforehand to allow other patients to take over your slot.
If you miss an appointment or do not cancel within the timeframe, you will be charged a fee of $50 for a Doctor consult ($19.50 for CSC holders) and $30 for a nurse consult ($19.50 for CSC holders). This must be paid before your next appointment.
Additional charges
There may be a charge for any additional materials that may be used in treatments or consultations.
- $10.00 late payment fee will be added automatically if payment not made on the day
- $10.00 late payment fee will be credited back if paid within 5 days of consultation
- Monthly admin fee of $10.00 for all outstanding invoices
- 2% credit card fee will be charged for credit card payments and PayWave

Nurse Consultation Charges
A standard nurse consultation is 15 minutes.
Fees are depending on time and consumables and may include dressings, blood pressure checks, dietary advice, etc. Please note expensive dressings may incur an extra charge.
Some services are free for funded patients.
